8-axis open beam CNC machining center with 2 opposed work heads, that perform milling, multiple milling and cutting operations
This CNC work center is equipped with 2 independent operating heads: a boring head with multiple vertical and horizontal spindles that works on 3 axes and a multispindle head that works on 5 axes. The 2 work heads are opposed: one on the front of the beam and one on the rear. This allows to divide the operations to be carried out, so that while the front head performs multiple drilling on the piece on the first table, the rear work head performs the milling operations on the part on the second table. Then, the work heads reverse their position and carry out the drilling and milling operations by completing the machining operations on the piece, thus obtaining a great saving in cycle time.
